Digital D1 Sounds

Hi, I purchased the Digital D1 App as well as the DF Retro package. The sounds in the DF package are very nice indeed. As I was browsing over the different sounds the D1 has, I ran into a nice Digital Piano Stereo preset that I really like and I wanted to ask you how can I get this sound while making songs in the DF. I “routed” the DF to have the MIDI Out selected on Digital D1 (hoping to get the preset of the Digital Piano Stereo) but in change I get no sound at all from the DF. I clicked the Sound button on the DF to “Mute” - hoping to only hear the D1 preset. Can the presets of the D1 be used in the Song Mode of the DF?

I realize that I’m not too tech savvy so I may be doing something wrong. I appreciate any help you can share. God Bless, Victor
